Feeling lonely most of the time can be bad for your health, although sometimes its normal people still struggle to deal with loneliness.
loneliness comes in different forms, people can still feel lonely even when there are people around them.
I remember the first time I felt lonely was in 1994 when I travelled from Kenya to India for studies, I missed home so badly that i felt like going back, most of the time I was lonely even when in college because people (students and staff) who were around me were all strangers to me,I missed my friends and family who I left back in Kenya, but with time I was able to cope by socialising with new friends.
Some people will feel lonely as a result of belief that nobody understands them,this happens when a person cannot relate with the sorrounding and he/she finds self being lonely.
It is therefore very important for us to figure out which type of loneliness we are struggling with, as this is the only best way to stop being lonely.
For instance, iam often existentially lonely but rarely fell separation loneliness(being physically distant from family and friends)
