How to track your my NSFAS Application Status online

National Student Financial Aid Scheme is model that funds tertiary education for South Africans.
In order to check your application status online, you must first register with your email and password.

Follow these steps:

• Visit the myNSFAS Portal www.nsfas.org.za
• On top right cornet of the homepage click on myNSFAS button
• Login to your account with your registered email address and password and complete the CAPTCHA to verify your identity
• Click sign in
• Once logged in look for a tab Track Application Progress or Application Status and view your current application status

The following terms applies:

• When your application has been received and is being processed – Application Submitted
• When the status shows – Documents Missing: You need to upload the required documents as listed.
• Your application status can be Under Reviewmeaning that your application is being reviewed to confirm eligibility.
• Approved: is when your funding has been approved, while Rejected: means your application was not approved due to missing requirements.
